When there is light, shadow will be followed. The subtle relationship between light and shadow interest me a lot. The shadow follows the direction, distance and strength of light, creating different shapes.

I found a poem after completing the painting that quite suitable to describe it: “...as Light in the shadow as shadow in light” by Luo Yijun.
